The Secret Behind Fuller Breasts

The Secret Behind Fuller Breasts...

December 25, 20243 min read

I know it’s been a minute, but oh boy, I’m back, and we’re going deep. This isn’t your typical newsletter about the latest “omega-3 benefits”—we’re talking real talk.

The kind that makes you pause, breathe, and feel seen.

TODAY, IN 5 MINUTES OR LESS, YOU’LL LEARN:

  1. The surprising culprit behind fuller breasts (and why it’s not what you’d expect) 😉

  2. The sneaky effects of sugar, caffeine, and dairy overload on your hormone balance 🍰🍵

  3. How tuning into your body’s symptoms can guide you back to harmony, one step at a time 🕊️💫

Now here’s the juicy part: About 15 days ago, mid-cycle, I noticed my breasts were sore. And not just a little tender—like, “one size up, bouncing-around, can’t-fit-into-my-hands” kind of sore.

Throwback to when I was on birth control, I used to see this as a little gift from Venus herself and celebrate (I mean, who doesn’t love a little extra, right? 😉).

But now that I’m wiser, I know that this “organic augmentation” was actually a signal that something wasn’t quite right in my hormone world. 🌬️💭

How did I find myself in this imbalance? Well… 🍰😅

Chocolate Coffee Cake

Last month was my birthday, and yes, I went overboard on sugar and carbs. 🎂🍫

Newsflash: your endocrine system perceives mismanaged blood sugar as a stressor. ⚠️

In response, your adrenal glands flood your body with cortisol (the stress hormone) and adrenaline, setting off hormonal chaos. 😬

Blood sugar spikes disrupt ovulation, which prevents your body from producing progesterone.

Plus, the more sugar you eat, the more fat cells you create—and these fat cells secrete estrogen, adding to what your body naturally produces.

As a result, you’re set up for estrogen dominance, progesterone deficiency, and hormone imbalance. This is the root cause of so many common issues: PMS, cramps, irregular cycles, acne—and even play into PCOS and fertility struggles. 😮‍💨

The second part?

Loading up on matcha. 🍵

My rule is to enjoy matcha only during my follicular phase, but...I indulged every day for two months.

I mean, I loooove it! 💚

But just because we can doesn’t mean we should, ha! 🤭

Based on research, it even increases the risk of breast and ovarian cysts.

So, the result?

Fuller, but tender breasts, mood swings, and brown spotting before my period. 💡

Sorry to disappoint, girlfriend! Fuller breasts aren’t exactly coming from healthy lifestyle choices but rather from caffeine, dairy, and sugar overload.

Remember though: This journey isn’t about being perfect. It’s about finding balance, and hey, sometimes we all tip the scales.⚖️ (That was a Libra joke 🥳)

It’s about living, learning, exploring, honoring, and loving ourselves. 🌱💖

When you know how to support your body, these symptoms aren’t scary—they’re simply breadcrumbs guiding us back to balance. 🕊️💫
